Ah....but Only if we the people stand as one can such injustice be undone.

Filipetti needs to also have this case tried in the court of much greater public opinon - snowball should be written into the storyline of a TV show....say in the new TV series of Eli Stone, attorney who takes such cases..... THAT would do it and all America would get the story up close and personal - especially when they found out it's true !!!and before it gets shoved further under the Oregonian rug of shame.... put it in the direct spotlight of the entertainment world... Yes...THAT would do it....and I'm serious; Please contact the directors.

I think it was actually about the woman who ran over he husband with her car. I saw that story on the news anyway, and they were shooting outside the church where it happened. Maybe they came out here for both stories.

So here is another worrisome from our beloved MVD. With going to a National Identity drivers license with social security information what protection against Identity theft do we have? Not once have i seen super k in Salem nor the MVD address this problem. At least Maine is fighting this national Identity nonsense.

We have on occasion taken short hikes up the Molalla River Corridor, but we know to take the old Cherokee and leave nothing in it. That way if the windows are broken out by the time we get back, it's not a huge loss. The Corridor is a scary place right now. No way would I camp there overnight, and I don't think that leaving vehicles at trailheads is safe in any way.
Can the alliance make a difference? I don't know the answer to that question.

A Judge ruled last year that the deer should be returned to Filipetti pending a hearing on whether or not he had in fact broken the law. The ODFW chose to simply ignore the ruling. If Filipetti cannot rely on the legal system because the ODFW that is accusing him of breaking the law evidently feels that the ODFW does not have to abide by the law. Interesting, no? So what choice does Filipetti have, other than to go for the only thing that might get people's attention: money. I don't believe it ever has been about the money for him. After all, he was the one who picked up an injured animal and spent thousands getting it the care it needed, when the ODFW would, no doubt, have wasted no time in putting it to sleep.

Bradbury, and all of these environmentally aware people are spot on this one: Oregon does not need the environmental, economic, and health/safety boondoggles presented by LNG terminals.

California, where all this gas is headed, has kicked these speculators off its' coast, so they come up here and propose placing it on an active fault zone,
in a tsunami area? That's just crazy!

And that's just the beginning of a long list of problems for us, from loss of marine and forest habitat, pollution, potential explosions, airport interference, ETC., to the demonstrated lack of need for the gas. Imagine 231 miles of stream, river, and forest devastation 100ft wide
for the pipeline. No wonder people are upset!

All of these protesting citizens are like red lights blinking on your dashboard - will you ignore them and keep your foot on the gas?

We have been fighting the crazy siting of an LNG terminal in Coos County. The North Bend/Coos Bay City Councilpeople have been NO HELP. Neither have our commissioners. After realizing that this is not a good decision...a few jobs for transforming Oregon in a negative direction, is CRAZY. It is time for all City Councils and County Commissioners and all others to have some guts, after studying this issue, to step-up to oppose this travisity.
