Comment policy

• Readers are solely responsible for the content of their comments.

• The comments posted here do not necessarily reflect the opinion or approval of the Molalla Pioneer.

• Comments are published as is and will not be moderated, but will be subject to the following rules and stipulations:

• Comments will not be edited. They will either run as is or not run at all.
• Comments will be removed if they are judged inappropriate for publication because they contain libel, unsubstantiated allegations of criminal acts, personal attacks or other objectionable content.
• Comments will be automatically rejected if they contain profanity.
• Comments will be removed if they contain copyrighted material such as full-text of articles or stories from other web sites or publications.
• Comments may be added to a story for about two weeks after a new story is posted, after that, that story’s comment area will close.
• Comments should be about the specific news story they are attached to. If there is a news story that you’d like to comment on and you don’t see it appear on the blog within a couple days of it appearing in the newspaper, email molallapioneer@gmail.com and ask us to post the story.
• Comments may be reprinted in the regular printed newspaper at the discretion of the editor.
